If Quickbooks Desktop is your Accounting Software, here are some tips on setting it up.
PROCEDURE
The Use Account Numbers setting is mandatory.
For multi-store situations, it’s necessary to select the Use Class Tracking setting.
The QuickBooks created Accounts Receivable account must be set to Inactive and a new A/R Account must be setup as an Other Asset account.
The QuickBooks created Sales Tax account must be set to Inactive and a new Sales Tax Account must be setup as an Other Liability account.
