What are my providers email settings?

Use customer user and password to access account settings and security

in security select Allow lower security apps toggle to Yes https://login.yahoo.com/account/security#less-secure-apps

Go Daddy appears to be using Office 365 for email.

Use User and Password to access http://email.Companyname.com

Go to settings and add the default user and time zone once those are set the email will start sending.

Possible Extra Steps

1) Visit http:/www.google.com/accounts/displayUnlockCaptcha and sign in with customer Username and password.  If asked enter the letters in the distorted picture.

2) Change your settings to allow less secure apps to access your account.

Go to Less Secure Apps section in My Account

Next to Access for less secure apps select Turn On.  This setting may be hidden if the administrator has locked less secure account access.

3) If customer has 2-Step Verification go to gmail.com and click on the initial in top right corner. Select My account and then go to sign-in and security.

Click Sign in to Google section and the click App Passwords on the right. Have customer sign in and then click in the Select App drop-down.

Choose other and give it a name (I used Decor Fusion Email Service) then click Generate password.

Copy the newly formed password and put in password field of Decor Fusion.


G-Mail Suite How to Enable Less Secure Apps option

1.    Login to website https://admin.google.com/ with main administrator credentials
2.    Click on the Security option
3.    Click on Basic Settings option
4.    Click Basic settings
5.    Under Less secure apps section click Go to settings for less secure apps
6.    Select Allow users to manage their access to less secure apps click SAVE
7.    To configure individual G-mail account login with the user that requires having Less Secure App enabled. In this example will use the same user.

NOTE:  One could use a shortcut and go directly to this address: https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps and go to section 10 below.  Or follow the steps below

8.    Once logged in click Security option
9.    Under Less secure app access section click Turn on access (not recommended)
10.    Click on the toggle switch to turn Allow less secure apps: ON
11. E-mail should be working now


AOL


The AOL Mail SMTP Settings
The AOL Mail outgoing SMTP server settings for sending mail through AOL Mail from any email program (or email service) are:

AOL Mail SMTP server address: smtp.aol.com
SMTP user name: Your AOL Mail screen name (what comes before "@aol.com" in your AOL Mail address; if your address is me@aol.com, for example, the corresponding screen name is "me")
Password: Your AOL Mail password

Port (using TLS): 587
SMTP port alternative (using SSL): 465
TLS/SSL required: yes



Live/MSN
