Overview

This document will outline the Fine Line Import feature,which will allow users to import, and remove fine lines quickly and efficiently.

Procedure

The Inventory Fine Line Import can be found by navigating to Software Settings → Inventory → Fine Lines.

If security allows, click the Import button.  A file dialog will appear.  Select the import file.  If the import completes, it will display import statistics.

Import File Format

The file format required for importing Fine Lines is as follows:

Worksheet Name: FineLine

Columns:

If the Remove column is set to Remove then the import will attempt to remove the fine line from the database as long as it is not inuse.  If it is in use or linked to records, then it will not remove it.

Security

There is a security feature within the Software settings list (in User Settings) which will determine which users will be able to import fine lines.  It is under Software Settings → Inventory Fine Lines → Import.
