Decor Fusion eCommerce PayPal Integration

Overview

This document will outline the integration with PayPal for Decor Fusion eCommerce.  PayPal integration is only available for Canadian customers.


Setup


  • Navigate to www.paypal.com and click the Sign Up button on the top right-hand corner.

  • Click the Sign Up for a Business Account button.  Complete the sign up process.

  • Enter your PayPal Credentials and click Login button.

  • Click on your login in the top right and select the Dashboard option.

  • Click on Live under the My Apps & Credentials and click Create App.

  • Enter an App Name like ‘Fusion eCommerce’ and click the Create App button.

  • Double click on the Application you just created.  Properties will have the Client ID.  Under the Secret, click the Show.

  • In Decor Fusion, navigate to Edit Menu> Software Settings> Customer Portal. Click Edit Customer Portal Settings and enter the daily password.  Note: the Daily Password is a password which Decor Fusion staff has access to.  If you require this password, contact Decor Fusion Support for assistance.

  • Copy and paste the PayPal Client ID and Secret from the website to the PayPal Account Details section in the Decor Fusion Customer Portal Setting screen.

Obtaining Money


  • Log into your PayPal business account.

  • Navigate to the transaction screen.

  • Under the Action column, select ‘Mark as Shipped’ from the dropdown.

  • Set the Order Status to ‘Order Processed’ and then check Tracking Information not required.  Then submit.

  • The funds will be deposited into your bank account in 2-3 business days. PayPal has stipulated as your reputation as a seller increases, the time for them to release the funds will become shorter.  

  • Once your account reaches this reputation (after a few transactions), you will no longer see the option to ‘Mark as Shipped’ in the Action dropdown.  You will see a new option ‘Get your money’

Then you will have to stipulate if it is a Product or Service or virtual product.  Click Service. Click Confirm order status.

Then you will need to set the Order status to Completed and the date completed and hit Submit.
