This article explains how to use Store Availability to see a breakdown of current orders allocating inventory. 

Process
 

Store Availability is a tab available within Inventory Maintenance and can be accessed as follows:

1. Open Inventory Maintenance
2. Search for an item

• For example, the item that this article will look at is 012027643054- Mccloskey 80-6430 750 Ml Buff. 

3. View the item’s Properties and go to the Store Availability tab

• The quantity currently allocated to pending orders is shown inthe Allocated column. In the example, of the 230 items on hand, 15 are allocated for pending orders

4. Press the + icon next to the location where inventory is allocated to see a breakdown of orders

•  In the example, there are two outstanding orders for this item.One order has a quantity of 10 and the other a quantity of 5, combining for the total of 15.

Once the order is fulfilled, the On Hand and Allocated amounts will be updated accordingly. For this example, order N0000066 will be completed:

When you reopen Inventory Maintenance for the item and look at Store Availability, it will be updated to reflect the transaction:

The On Hand count has been reduced by 5 to 225 and there is now only 10 Allocated (for order N0000065).
