Overview

This document shows the process for processing a sample loan order in Decor Fusion.

Procedures

To create a sample loan order follow the steps below:

• Open POS screen and enter POS code
• Enter a customer
• Select the order type Sample Loan.
• Enter in the sample books being loaned out
• Take a deposit using the F11-Deposit button, if no deposit is being take just input $0 on the deposit under Z-Administrative

To process the return of a loaned out book follow the steps below:

• Go to Order Search and look for the sample loan 
• Double click on the order to bring it back up, enter POS code
• If all books are being returned simply Hit F4-Complete to close the sale and record the books as returned, any Deposit taken will be returned to customer
• If there are any reservations for the wallpaper books being returned, a message will be displayed on the

  screen when the return is complete

If multiple wallpaper books have been loaned out, but the customer is only returning

some books, add a value to backorder and add a comment using the letter C to indicate this book has not yet been returned.
